LES SHERIFF – Mainstage

De 1984 à 1999, LES $HERIFF ont mené tambour battant une carrière riche de quelques centaines de concerts en Europe et au Canada, sorti 9 albums dont 2 lives et marqué à jamais toute une génération d’aficionados à coups de 1,2… 1,2,3,4 ! Ils ont rempli tous les clubs et les Zénith de France, ouvert pour les Ramones, été les fers de lance du mouvement rock alternatif aux côtés de groupes tels que La Mano Negra, Bérurier Noir, Les Wampas, Parabellum et OTH. 15 ans après qu’ils aient rendus les armes avec le sentiment du devoir accompli, les 5 de Montpellier remontent en selle. On redécouvre alors les mélodies accrocheuses, l’énergie des rythmiques et surtout, les paroles, qui, sorties de leur époque originelle, prennent maintenant tout leur sens.

LA SOLUTION – Tiki Area

La Solution, c’est tout et rien à la fois. C’est un savant mélange de fanfaronnades, de guitares punk et d’humour décalé. La solution, c’est un duo acoustique provenant du Sud de la Belgique, là où le téléphone et les routes se sont arrêtés mais où les bières coulent autant que les rivières. La solution, c’est des textes engagés, enragés, idiots, amusants, nostalgiques mais surtout bien rythmés.

TAGADA JONES – Mainstage

Déjà plus de 20 ans que Tagada Jones parcourt les scènes nationales et internationales avec son Punk-Hardcore. Le groupe à traversé 25 pays, produit 9 albums studio et brûlé les planches à plus de 1800 reprises ! Sans doute l’un des seuls combos Punk français à autant s’exporter en chantant dans sa langue natale. Tagada c’est aussi une conscience sociale, un engagement politique et surtout une référence en terme d’indépendance. Dignes héritiers de la scène alternative française, ils sont reconnus par leurs prédécesseurs (Bérurier Noir, Parabellum, Shériff…) comme étant l’incarnation du « Do it yourself » français.

THE TOY DOLLS – Mainstage

The Toy Dolls were formed in October 1979 and comprised of Pete Zulu (Peter Robson) – lead vocal, Olga (Michael Algar) – guitar, Flip (Philip Dugdale) – bass guitar, Mr Scott (Colin Scott) – drummer. The Toy Dolls first ever gig was at Millview Social Club, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, 20 October 1979.

DANKO JONES – Mainstage

Power trio furieusement rock’n roll basé au Canada, Danko Jones sévit depuis maintenant un petit bout de temps puisque le groupe a sorti son premier EP éponyme courant 1998. Ont depuis suivis un autre EP l’année suivante (My love is bold) puis une compilation de titres inédits (I’m alive and on fire – A collection of songs) en 2001. En 2003, le combo canadien livre ses premiers véritables albums en 2003 (Born a lion et We sweat blood), deux manifestes punk’n roll à haute teneur énergétique, aux textes visant délibérément en dessous de la ceinture et à l’esprit brut de décoffrage, à l’image de Danko Jones (chanteur), John Calabrese (basse) et Damon Richardson (batterie), les trois énergumènes composant le line-up chaud comme la braise de Danko Jones.

FEROCIOUS DOG – Tiki Area

Ferocious Dog are a six-piece band who deal in a vibrant vein of Celtic-folk infused punk rock, comfortably slotting in between Billy Bragg and The Levellers. However, like The Levellers and New Model Army (also listed as an influence), Ferocious Dog have a broad spectrum of influences, tied together by the band’s left-leaning convictions and a shared desire to communicate through music.

The band has headlined tours of the UK and Europe, performed in Kenya and Dubai, festivals such as Bearded Theory, Alchemy, Deerstock, Farmer Phil’s Festival, Splendour, Lowlands (Netherlands), Glastonbury Festival and Beautiful Days among many others.

ALESTORM – Mainstage

Avast, ye landlubbers! From the deepest darkest depths of the Caribbean comes Alestorm, a drunken band of pirates on an epic quest to drink your beer, steal your rum, and be the greatest damn band that ever did sail the seven seas ! From humble beginnings playing shows to farm animals in a field somewhere in Eastern Scotland, Alestorm have evolved into an international party machine hellbent on conquering album charts and festival stages throughout the world, with their infectious brand of ‘Pirate Metal’ and their dashing good looks.
Somehow they’ve managed to convince hundreds of thousands of people from New Zealand to Argentina to Lithuania and everywhere in between (except Paraguay), that it’s cool to wear a pirate hat and sing stupid songs about getting drunk and stealing ships. So prepare your spleens, because Alestorm are coming to kick ass and chew gum. And they’re all out of ass.

The Moorings est un groupe français né en 2007 qui s’inspire de ses origines irlandaises. Fidèles aux thèmes traditionnels du répertoire folk irish, THE MOORINGS réactualisent le style en lui insufflant une solide dose d’énergie punk rock. L’authenticité se conjugue avec la modernité pour donner un vigoureux coup de jeune à un style musical encore peu connu en France mais que nos voisins européens plébiscitent déjà.

DIY darlings turned prominent punk exports – Clowns have become one of Australia’s most cherished punk figures, sporting their political spirit and party inspiring punk-rock. Their first record, 2013’s I’m Not Right, established the band’s reputation through a relentless touring schedule. It laid the framework to have 2015’s Bad Blood launch them onto the world stage, offering key appearances at Groezrock in Belgium and more. Later, It was 2017’s Lucid Again that solidified their place as one of Australia’s most acclaimed punk bands taking them to tones of sold out shows, the world’s biggest heavy music festival (Wacken Open Air), supporting Foo Fighters and expanding their creative horizons by intertwining punk rock and psychedelia in a way that Rolling Stone called “an intricate document of the shape of punk that finally came in” and stating “it’s hard to argue against Clowns not creating one of the best rock -not just punk- albums of the year”.

DROPKICK MURPHYS – Mainstage

Taking their musical cues from British Oi !, American hardcore, and traditional Irish music, Boston’s Dropkick Murphys have built a reputation as one of America’s most celebrated Celtic punk outfits. The group formed in the late 1990s as a fiery, though relatively straightforward punk outfit, but through the years began incorporating traditional Irish folk instrumentation and melody into their unruly sound.
