Nouveau clip pour Tarah Who?

Qui ça ? Tarah Who?, duo explosif à mi chemin entre Alanis Morissette et Motörhead nous présente son nouveau single Bad Time.

J’ai initialement appelé cette chanson “Bad Time” parce qu’une phrase récurrente dans la chanson était « Wait is this/Now A bad time ? » “Attendez, est-ce maintenant un mauvais moment?” ce qui laisse entendre qu’il n’y a jamais de bon moment pour parler d’être victime de harcèlement sexuel. Que vous ayez eu ou besoin de temps pour digérer ce qui vous est arrivé et finalement assez mature et adulte pour affronter la situation, des gens, des membres de la famille qui se demanderont «pourquoi ne nous avez-vous pas dit avant?». La peur d’être traité de menteur/euse ou de détruire les relations familiales en révélant des années plus tard ces actes.

It is a little difficult for me to talk about this song as it is a little too personal. Even though this happened to me, I am too afraid still of the consequences of mentioning this out loud. I named this song ‘Bad Time’ initially because one recurring sentence in the song was “Wait, is this/now a bad time?” implying that there is never a good time to talk about being a victim of sexual harassment. Whether you have had or needed time to digest what happened to you and finally mature and adult enough to confront the situation, people, family members who will wonder “why didn’t you tell us before?”. The fear to be called a liar, or to destroy relationships by revealing years later those acts.
