Noise, Post-Punk et New Wave

Le 13 mai dernier, oui ça date maintenant, JE T’AIME avait carte blanche à l’Espace Icare d’issy-Les-Moulineaux. Les Visions de Monsieur G. y était présent pour shooter la soirée pour Warm TV.

L’une de ses dernières contributions pour notre média avant qu’il ne décide de se ranger du petit monde de la photo de concert. Toutes nos excuses pour le délai de publication c’est en faisant le tri dans nos archives que je me suis aperçu que nous n’avions toujours pas publié le report.

Dear Deer

Dear Deer est un duo lillois né en 2015, composé de Federico Iovino et Sabatel. Ce duo mélange des sonorités post-punk et noise en passant par la newave discoïde. Après une démo autoproduite sort très rapidement leur premier album, “Oh my…” en 2016 (sur SDN/Manic Depression). Depuis, le duo n’a cessé de tourner en Europe et a enchaîné les lives avec des groupes tels que KVB, Boy Harsher, Perturbator, Kas Product, Le Prince Harry, Savage Republic, Guerre Froide,…etc

JE T’AIME

Formed in Paris, JE T’AIME released their first single The Sound in spring 2018. Following the enthusiastic reception of the public for this first musical recording, the band chose a secluded spot on the Brittany coast to focus on more important work. Weeks of sleepless summer nights in search of new sounds result in the creation of eleven new tracks: the sound a post-punk cold wave hybrid, reminiscent of the great Mancunian Factory era and infused with hints of the Smiths. This first eponymous album was released in Spring 2019.

Empathy Test

Formed in 2013 by childhood friends Isaac Howlett (vocals and songwriting) and Adam Relf (composition and production), Empathy Test released their first single/EP Losing Touch in February 2014 and have gone on to self-release three stunning full length albums: Losing Touch (Remastered) and Safe From Harm in 2017, and Monsters in 2020. Empathy Test’s unique style is built upon by Isaac’s soaring, emotional vocals and Adam’s multi-layered, soundscapes.
