Soirée Punk au Trois Petits Points

Le 28 mai dernier, c’était soirée punk rock au Trois Petits Points à Nancy. 3 formations s’y produisaient pour l’occasion. Fournaise, duo basse batterie, The Last Mile, punk hardcore canadien et Pink Flamingos, tout droit débarquer du Havre. Marie en était alors sans plus de fioritures, je dis : PHOTOS !

The Last Mile

At its core, The Last Mile is Stephanie Cole (Answers) and Chris Snelgrove (Prevenge, Whiskey Trench, Offside, All The Answers) with help from great musicians and friends. Having played in over 30 countries since 2015, being featured on multiple compilation appearances, and a well-received full length, “The Distance Between,” under the name Chris Snelgrove & The Last Mile in 2016, the name was shortened to just The Last Mile in 2019. In 2020, the band released a two-song EP entitled “II” on Pavones Records (Canada) and Palpebrite (Brazil) to positive reviews. Featuring Scott Wade (Comeback Kid) and Patty O’Lantern (Brutal Youth/Dragged In) this release showcased the newer, grittier, style of the band. They were able to raise 300$USD for the Portland General Defense Committee with the pre-order for the 7”.

Pink Flamingos

Pour 2013, ils embarquent en mai pour deux semaines de Canada, qui incluent leur participation au désormais légendaire Pouzza Fest de Montréal, et ils prévoyent de visiter la péninsule ibérique à l’automne ! Tout va pour le mieux.

Ajoutons à cela que chez Pink Flamingos, tout le monde est bien connu de la scène punk indépendante havraise: Julien joue aussi dans Crumble Lane et Moot And The happy Makers, Gilou était également le batteur de plusieurs autres groupes havrais (Horrorshow Destruction, Ashes et Drunk Sincerity), pendant que Bertrand organise nombre de concerts plutôt cools et participe à tout un tas de projets musicaux éphémères.
